Stübers Restaurant at the Rhein-Hotel Bacharach is a place for those who love to eat well. Here the culinary traditions of the Middle Rhine meet an open, Mediterranean-inspired kitchen — what we like to call "mediterrhinean slow food".
Slow food means good produce, honest preparation and time to enjoy it. Rather than chasing fast-moving trends, we rely on quality, craft and the natural flavour of the ingredients.
We are World Heritage hosts by conviction, and we play an active part in the Middle Rhine Moments.
We feel a deep connection to this region. The landscape — its steep vineyards, small farms and dedicated producers — shapes our cooking as much as the long cultural history of the Rhine.

Many of our ingredients come straight from the countryside around Bacharach and the Middle Rhine Valley. Fresh vegetables, responsibly raised meat, fish from local waters and, of course, the wines of the surrounding growers shape our menu.
Stübers Restaurant brings these regional ingredients together with a light, Mediterranean-inspired hand. The result is an interpretation entirely our own: mediterrhinean slow food — prepared fresh and with imagination each day, regional, seasonal and organic — with a good glass of Riesling from a neighbouring vineyard.
